First Aid Course
Today Room 9 completed a first aid course with St Johns. We learnt that responding to an accident involves:
Dangers - what are the dangers to me?
Response - calling out to the victim or tapping their collar bone to get a response
Send for help - call out for help and call an ambulance
Airways - tilt head backwards to clear airways
Breathing - check breathing - if they are breathing then the heart is going
CPR
